June 2017 | Olowalu Plantation – Destination Wedding
“A Hawaiian Destination Wedding”
The moment Aubrey and Tom got engaged they knew they wanted to have a destination wedding. Aubrey, wedding planner turned bride, found the beautiful Olowalu Plantation through Pinterest. Once the venue was booked she secured amazing wedding vendors. Next the couple told 100 of their best friends and family to book a flight from Sacramento to Maui. In Hawaii the guests were treated to several events, a welcome BBQ, a snorkeling catamaran and post wedding donuts and Bloody Marys at the pool. The whole trip was perfect. It is a great experience to vacation and celebrate with all of your favorite people. We highly recommend it.
The wedding day was simply perfect. The couple wanted unique food stations, they featured hurricane fries, tacos and wok fried chowmein. Signature tropical drinks tied into the location and set the tone. When dancing started Uluani’s served their incredible shave ice. The view and ambiance were beautiful. The fresh, tropical vision was set in a contemporary palette with hints of dusty blue and rich rusty, terracotta and blush. The sunset that night was gorgeous. The wedding ended as guests danced the night away with a cool tropical breeze.
