“An English-Garden Inspired Spring Wedding with Literal Heart Eyes”
Lauren + Ben are one of the most intentional and thoughtful couples I have ever had the chance to work with as a wedding planner at Curated by Grace + White. There was not a single detail about their Park Winters wedding that Lauren didn’t pour her heart into. What I loved most about her is she stayed true to her and Ben’s personal style preferences. She’d always dreamed of an English-Garden inspired wedding with very dainty details.
One of the dainty details was a perfectly pink ribbon that Lauren tied into her hair–it would also be the same ribbon we used to decorate the napkins with!! Lauren even DIY’d a bookmark seating chart with tassels (hand made by her of course). Each guest was able to take their bookmark as a favor to thank them for writing this love story. It was clear that details were SO important to Lauren–some other loving details she included are: playing her passed fathers Elvis Presley record, hand stitching quilt squares for each guest to sign as her guestbook, having us a sign a Bridal bible her mom gave her an infant, literally sewing her rehearsal dress and quite a few other things such as the ribbon used to tie her flowers that now hang in the Foreman’s Quarters at Park Winters!! There was no shortage of intentionality in every detail.
The most unique and coolest detail from Lauren + Ben’s wedding was during Ben’s Welcome Toast he cued our team at Curated by Grace + White to hand out “heart glasses.” He talked about being present in the joy around us and asked each guest to put the glasses on. What we didn’t know is that the glasses turned light rays into literal HEARTS!!!! It was the coolest experience to walk around with the glasses on and have the candlelight radiate LOVING hearts. It was a wedding of literal heart eyes and I was obsessed!!! This wedding was an absolute joy to plan alongside Lauren. She is a gem of a human being and I’m so grateful to have curated this wedding for her and Ben!! I wish you two a lifetime of heart eyes and happiness!!!!
XOXO, Mary
