“An edgy, romantic wedding with odes to their love for travel and international roots.”

The sweetest couple – the bride is Dutch from the Netherlands and the groom is Greek, but they met in Ohio of all places. It was important to incorporate the Delft Blue design as an homage to her heritage so we used that blue pattern as a base and added in black and gold accents for a more edgy look. They’re untraditional in most senses but still wanted their wedding to feel American so we have fun items along with a traditional flow of the day.

Melany and Ted hired Napa Wedding Planner, Curated by Grace + White to bring their vision to life. When searching for a Napa wedding venue, it was important for the wedding to be outdoors and “feel” like Napa Valley. They landed on Hilltop at Carneros Resort for the sweeping vineyard, mountain views and relaxed atmosphere. The beauty at Carneros with blooming white flowers and the stone courtyard was the perfect backdrop for their wedding. The Delft Blue design was inspired by Melany’s Holland heritage and woven throughout the wedding in patterned tablecloths and vases adorning the shelves and bar. Using black flatware and chargers on top of the blue pattern enhanced the modern vibes set in wine country.

Anemones (white flowers with black centers) made the PERFECT centerpieces and the ceremony installation of hydrangea clouds floating were expertly created by Susan at Marion Moss. The florals continued with an arrangement on the fireplace and adorning the black bars.A suitcase display of custom luggage tags as their seating chart was an ode to their international roots! Guests from all over the world attended this fabulous, Napa Valley wedding and danced the night away.
