“A Vintage Christmas Love Story in California”
Sally and Jeremy are old souls that wanted to host an evening that would send their guests back in time. Our inspiration was an elegant 60’s, country club, holiday party. The Sequoyah Country Club was very near and dear to the couple because Sally’s parents were married there decades before.
We had three, 14 foot silvertip trees dressed in warm, romantic lights and silver tinsel that was hand placed, piece by piece. Two were flanking the ceremony arch that was fully covered in fresh baby’s breath and white roses. It was up against an arched window that faced the sunset, causing the full room to glow as they walked down the aisle. The third was in the dining room where each table was centered with a fresh wreath around the candelabra base, and nostalgic Christmas poppers. These have been a tradition in Sally’s family since she was a child. We set the mood with a white, emerald, gold, and black color palette and a plentiful amount of romantic candle lighting. To top it all off, the band mixed in a few Christmas classics during the live music all evening.
